Nine Twenty's client is looking for an Electrical Shift Maintenance Technician.This role involves preventative and breakdown maintenance work, repairing a wide variety of machines and process equipment whilst working within set safety parameters and permit procedures.You must be reliable, willing to work shifts, work overtime and provide standby cover if required. Responsibilities Good understanding of current IEE regulationsDemonstrable experience of maintaining and troubleshooting PLC systems (Siemens Allen Bradley) including SCADA / Visualisation systemsExtensive knowledge of motor controls, process control loops and VSD'sKnowledge of combustion burners, kilns and furnaces is advantageousProficient at reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawingsExperienced and proficient at installing, trouble shooting and repairing electrical equipmentGood knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systemsDemonstrable knowledge of fault-finding techniqueFamiliar working with PM, CMMS, TPM and LOTO systems Experience/ Skills/ Knowledge Electrical engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years recognized ApprenticeshipExperience in an Industrial Manufacturing environmentComputer literate in the use of MS officeGood verbal and written communication skillsClear understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental issues.Flexibility and Teamwork is essential.Work on one's own initiative, unsupervised and have the ability to make critical decisions This is a great opportunity, if you think you are the right candidate for the job then please apply or you can get in touch with Rehana Sadiq for a confidential chat.
