To project manage the development of a new zero heat loss hose sleeve for use in the pumping of gear oil to and from wind turbine gearboxes in low temperature environments. The project role will have assistance from the company’s own in-house engineers as well as from an academic from the Higher Education Institute, IT Sligo. Duties will include: Research, development and testing of materials suitable for the required project Managing and setting up the process for any testing and any equipment required to carry out testing at different stages of the project Holding regular project update meetings with all parties Interacting with manufacturers of materials and components Essential Criteria Mechanical Engineering degree level qualification Desirable Criteria Fluid mechanics Mechanics of Materials Condition Monitoring Manufacturing Systems Thermodynamics Dynamics Job Location Based from our head office at Stewarton, East Ayrshire.
