Delivery Planning Adviser

Together we are Trusted to Serve Scotland.An RTPI accredited Town Planner is needed to join Scottish Water’s Planning Team.As part of a Scotland-wide Planning Team you will contribute to the successful delivery of Scottish Water’s Capital Investment Programme. You will be responsible for the delivery of the planning requirements of Scottish Water’s large and varied portfolio of projects. This portfolio includes the upgrading of existing and the development of new sites in diverse and often challenging locations. With responsibility for your own portfolio of projects the role holder will work proactively as part of a large multi-disciplinary department. Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in development management essential. Key accountabilities include: Identification of planning requirements for Scottish Water’s projectsDelivery of planning permissions and related consentsManaging the planning deliverables for a portfolio of projects in line with key milestones Liaising with stakeholders on project specifics as required. The successful candidate will be:Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary teamA Chartered Town PlannerExperienced in Development ManagementSalary: Band C £29,770 - £41,740Recruitment process will follow current government guidance on social distance.Closing date for applications: 26th Feb 2021
