Commercial law firm in Leeds is looking to recruit a Commercial Property (Residential Development) lawyer of 2 or more years’ PQE. The team supports clients in a range of projects acting for plc house builders, regional house builders, PRS investors and land-owners in respect of residential and residential-led mixed-use developments, for both build-to-rent and build-for-sale sectors. Within this sector they are seeing significant growth and already possess an impressive list of major clients and panel appointments. The successful candidate will be joining a high-profile team with exposure to outstanding high-value development work and specific matters they work on include conditional contracts and transfers, conditional options, advising on rights of pre-emption, collaboration agreements and development agreements, with a focus on high value residential development and investment projects. There will be plenty of opportunities for client contact and you'll be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with these contacts.  Business development is also an important aspect for all of the teams’ lawyers, and you will be expected to contribute to the growth of the team by assisting with the organisation of and attending client events, writing articles for the website and other publications and also involving yourself in other marketing activities.
