CER Education would love to hear from you!The roleCER Education is working in partnership, with a catholic academy school near Durham, who are looking for a teaching assistant to work in a Year One class. The academy are looking for a level three teaching assistant, to support students in the classroom who need extra support. The class are a Year One class, and some students have English as an additional language. We are looking for a candidate, who can support and engage a group of children, whilst also maintaining a positive learning environment.You will be working with children in small groups, completing interventions inside of the classroom, with a class of Year One learners, so a knowledge of literacy and maths is essential. Experience of leading interventions in Read Write Inc or phonics would be of benefit.
