Waste Management DriverGrade 4, £20,092 up to £23,080 per annum pro rata37 hours per week on a 12 month fixed term contract We currently have a vacancy for a suitably qualified Driver to carry out operational duties within the Waste Management Section. Your role will include being responsible for a small team collecting household and commercial waste (mainly contained in wheeled bins and sacks) from properties across the borough via a 26T Refuse Collection vehicle. You must hold a category C licence and be physically fit, able to walk long distances each day, move wheeled bins, sacks and any other waste as required. A focus on excellent customer service is essential for this key frontline service. As part of the Street Scene Service you will, when required, participate in the wider duties of the service.
