NHS Borders Estates & Facilities department has a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experience manager to provide comprehensive healthcare generated waste and vehicle fleet management services across the estate. Ensuring a safe, effective and efficient service. Experienced in managing during periods of change, be able to work with a high degree of autonomy and have the ability to prioritise competing demands. Excellent interpersonal skills teamed with good organisational skills, assertiveness and diplomacy; with the ability to use logic to solve problems rationally and effectively and be able to communicate clearly and articulately across all levels. The person must be willing to undergo training, attend training courses etc when required. There is an occasional requirement to work out with normal hours.
