Salary: £9.51 up to £12.05 per hour including night shift and freezer premium Starting rate - £9.51 per hourFreezer premium for all hours worked - plus £1.00 per hourNight shift premium (between the hours of 10pm and 6am) - plus £1.54 per hourPerformance based incentives available when targets are metOvertime paid at basic x 1.25 Our first employees will play a very special part by helping us get the site ready to operate. This means initially you will be working in our Inbound team - unpacking, inspecting, and scanning our storage totes ahead of taking deliveries and receiving and decanting goods into the totes. The tasks can be repetitive but joining us so early on will give you fantastic exposure and genuine opportunities to progress to other roles. Inbound: Receiving goods from suppliers and decanting the products into totes. You will be required to go in and out of the Freezer from time to time with this role (temperatures below -25℃ ) Days Shift - 06:00 to 17:00 | Nights Shift - 18:00 to 06:00You will be working any 4 days from 7, which will include working weekends. All areas of the warehouse (except the freezer) have both ambient and chill (0 to 5℃) sections and you will be expected to work in both areas.The role of a warehouse operative requires you to be on your feet and mobile at all times as well as carrying out repetitive tasks and potentially lifting up to 25kg weights and moving up to 70kg trolleys.We will provide you with the correct PPE.All roles within the warehouse will require you to handle meat and alcohol.
