The Role: Trainee Assistant Air Conditioning and Electrical Technician Our client a professional and well established automotive company is currently seeking a Trainee Assistant Air Conditioning and Electrical Technician to join their growing team. The main purpose of the role is to assist an air conditioning and electrical technician in installing heating, air condoning and electrical systems into quality accessible and / or bespoke vehicles, working as part of the wider team, ensuring the specification, budget, time scale and quality measures are met. Main responsibilities: To assist with the design and help build any frames, brackets, fittings or similar as needed for any installation.To assist the senior air conditioning and heating engineer to work to agreed timescales, remain within agreed specifications and according to control plans and within the conformity of production.To work closely with the senior air conditioning and heating engineer and accept their direction, support, training and guidance in delivering the work of the department.To report any damage incurred to any products, tools or vehicles under their control / build programme.To help maintain a clean and tidy workspace.To ensure that suitable focus is given to working in a safe environment, including the correct and constant use of suitable PPE equipment.To help ensure that all relevant paperwork is filled / completed and returned as required.To help the senior air conditioning and electrical technician ensure that all aspects of the heating and electrical department processes are within the relevant ISO quality system framework. Other responsibilities: To actively contribute to a good team and team approach.To report any and all accidents / incidents appropriately.To make effective and efficient use of the other departments.To work closely with all members of the wider teams.To work within all health and safety requirements as dictated by the job and in accordance with all current legislation.To wear the correct uniform at all times whilst working.Anything explicit or implies as contained in the staff handbook and in the statement of main terms of employment.Any other duties and tasks as directed by a member of the management team.
