JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description SummaryThe Wind Energy Instructor’s primary role will be efficient & effective delivery of hands-on and class room training to GE Wind Energy GP&S (Global Projects & Services) field technicians and Sub-Contractor, as well as field engineers and Operations Manager from our customers. This new instructor profile will also be focusing much more on local onsite trainings.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesConduct domestic / international training classes at facility for internal GE and/or external customer field technicians and hands-on lab sessions to reinforce classroom theoryDevelop and/or update existing training material to conform to product and global Services standardsSupport services training initiatives/projectsParticipate as an active member of the Learning organization in defining and implementing new programs that support our goal of being the World's Best Services teamParticipate in regular scheduled Operations meetings with main stakeholder from Installation / Commissioning and Service to align training capabilities and related trainingsRequired QualificationsElectrotechnical or mechanical education or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (from an accredited university or college)First experience on construction sites / projects/ Service Area/ rotational assignmentsfluent Spanish and English skills, technical English mandatoryAbility and willingness to climb Wind Turbines as needed as part of field support assignmentsAbility and willingness to travel up to 50% Domestic / InternationalIf contracted in Spain:Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain.
