DescriptionTo be aware on changes in legislation about plastics and flexible packaging at national and european level.This includes keep in touch with EU platforms and governmental organizations related to sustainability.To collect, analyse and share with Saica Flex business standars/new regulations related to sustainability in plastics and flexible packaging.To lead and coordinate the sustainability strategy os Saica Flex business unit:To support RDi Staff as wel as sales team in orden to give quick answers to customer demands regarding sustainable solutions. To measure sustainability performance.To propose, plan, execute and manage R&D&i projects and innovation actions with customers targeted to increase product sustainability.To participate in industrial trials with productions plants, suppliers, external research partners, and/or customers.Minimum requirementsAcademic Qualification/Other Training:Mandatory: Science or Engineering Bachelor/Master (preferred in Materials/Chemical Engineering or highly related).Desirable: PhD Degree in materials science/engineering or highly related.Experience: 5 years experience in R&D projects related to polymer science and/or flexible packaging. 2 years experience in analysis of standards and new legislation related to plastics sustainability.2 years experience in RDi project management Optional: experience in Flexible Packaging /converting Industry.Languaje Skills. Mandatory: very good command in English (written and spoken). Optional: French.Others: availability to travel.
