Service Care Solutions are supporting a Drug & Alcohol service in the South Yorkshire area, and the service requires a Substance Misuse Worker. This role is a permanent contract, to work 37.5 hours on a rota basis. The perfect candidate must have experience working with Substance Misuse service users directly, and must have great passion for providing support with the service users.Objective of the post;You must work with the Complex Lives service to engage people within Substance Misuse problems, with Treatment services. Providing therapeutic interventions across the area in group and 1-2-1 settings, and to ensure access to community services to provide holistic support.On a day-to-day basis you will;*Undertake comprehensive assessments, and implement risk management in line with the service's policy and procedures.*Liaise with other health and social care professionals where necessary and appropriate.*Undertake screening for Drug and Alcohol abuse.Essential requirements;*Previous substance misuse experience!*Current fully enhanced DBS!For more information, please contact Danny Booth on (phone number removed) or alternatively email (url removed)
