Job DescriptionThis post is Fixed Term for 12 Months.The Youth Employability Service is South Lanarkshire Council's, Education Resources dedicated service to support young people in the senior phase and post-school to the age of 19 to develop the skills and experiences to progress to and sustain, positive post-school destinations. The team is seeking to recruit vocational development workers to support the delivery of our key programmes:Aspire – Targeted programme to support young people in the senior phase and post-school 16-19 to progress to sustained positive destinations. GradU8 – Senior phase vocational learning programme supporting young people to develop skills across a range of subject areas in partnership with local colleges and training providers.Foundation Apprenticeships - Work-based learning opportunity for senior-phase secondary pupils.RequirementsForeign Police CheckCandidates should be able to detail any gaps in employment and provide a foreign police check where applicable for any periods living or working abroad.
