Site Manager required for long term newbuild project on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Your new company Our client are a major player in the construction of commercial and retail premises in Scotland. They are about t to commence a new project in Edinburgh and are seeking the services of an experienced construction site manager to join their team for the duration of this project.Your new role As site manager on this project you will be reporting to an excellent construction manager who will support and drive you to deliver a successful outcome on the project. You will be responsible for organising all day to day activities on site ensuring that health and safety and quality is at the forefront of all of the work completed by your team of experienced subcontractors.What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate is an experienced construction site manager who has newbuild construction experience ideally with steel frame construction. You will be from a trade or engineering background and have SMSTS, First AID and current black card. Our client will be very interested in hearing from candidates who have recent experience of working on retail newbuild projects.What you'll get in return This is a long term contract position for the right candidate and our client have a good track record of offering their site managers regular and sustained work. A competitive hourly rate will be available along with the opportunity to work 50 hours per week.
