Shift Maintenance Technician South Wales 18075/534 £39,000 - £41,000 + Excellent company benefits. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly successful and well-established manufacturer that are experiencing excellent and prolonged growth. The company are expanding on a global scale and have been investing heavily in the South Wales facility and now require an additional Shift Maintenance Technician to support the growth of the business moving forward. As a Maintenance Technician you be required to work on shift and be focussed on minimising downtime, maintaining equipment and ensure a continuous improvement approach is achieved to engineering activities. Role & Responsibilities:*Provide breakdown support and PPM within a high volume, fast paced manufacturing environment *Carry out both mechanical and electrical maintenance on a wide range of automated machinery *Working on PLC controlled equipment and systems *Work on a variety of equipment including, packaging machines, heat/temperature-controlled equipment, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, scanners, labelling equipment, sensors, valves, pumps, gearboxes*Assist with the ongoing development to machinery and continual process improvements Knowledge, Skills and experience *Strong Multi skilled background/experience *Mechanically bias & qualified *Apprenticeship/HNC level or equivalent experience*Experienced within manufacturing, ideally high volume/FMCG would be preferred *Excellent fault finding and problem-solving ability both electrical and mechanical Benefits Package:*£39,000 - £41,000 salary (Inclusive shift allowance) *4on 4off shift pattern (Days/Nights) *Excellent benefits*25 days holiday + bank holidays*Pension (contributory)*Private medical cover If you are interested in this role or looking for something similar please contact our Managing Consultant Nick Greenland directly at (url removed) or call them for a confidential discussion on (phone number removed).
