Position overview Lear is looking for a Technical HW Leadership role responsible for requirement analysis, digital circuit design, component selection, schematic entry and Bill Of Material release. You will be responsible to develop efficient, competitive and on-time technical responses to RFQs/RFIs, aligned with market trends and customer needs for the HW. Duties can include: • Develop best-in-class HW technical solutions at competitive costs in RFQs • Perform regular meetings with customers during RFQ stages to gain trust (regular follow ups and feedback sessions) • Integrate digital advanced in-vehicle communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay, BroadR-Reach) with latest 32-bit microcontroller architectures (ARM, TriCore) • Coordinate and lead HW engineering team, supervising development tasks • Lead technical communication with customer, other engineering areas, program management, purchasing and suppliers • Support the supervisor by issuing a report to the Lear Management concerning design details and deadline details about a certain item • Optimize designs in terms of development costs, piece price costs, power dissipation, thermal performance and Co2 emissions • Provide technical support to other sites Key requirements -Fluent English Skills -4/5 years experience in HW -University degree in electronics
