Based in the Thames area, you will be working with the client and the wider team to manage the process of developing designs from feasibility through to handover. You will ensure that the necessary design activities and outputs, stakeholder engagement, 3rd Party liaison, compliance with relevant client and industry standards have been achieved, whilst maintaining a strong health and safety culture.As the most senior Engineering group member in the region, you will report directly to the Head of Engineering and the responsibilities will include: Engineering Leadership and Design direction Participation in the Senior Leadership team, including the preparation of management reports Close liaison with Delivery and Commercial Leads to ensure an integrated Design & Build culture Overall management and leadership of Designers, Regional Discipline Leads and Design Managers within the regional portfolio Accountable for individual project delivery programmes to meet design, procurement, supplier and construction schedules Ensure Technical Excellence, Quality Control and Compliance across all projects Manage the day to day activities of the design team and ensure compliance with the Framework Design Plan. About You Skills/Experience Experience in managing engineering teams in geographically dispersed locations Experience in multidisciplinary water and wastewater design and build schemes Must be delivery driven with the ability to set targets and manage and motivate design teams to deliver to time, cost and quality objectives Demonstrable Project Control capability - control of budgets and programmes Relevant Degree or equivalent qualification Expert knowledge working as an Engineering Manager, Design Manager or a Technically minded Operational Manager on Design & Build Projects About Us MWH Treatment is an integrated design and build solution provider operating in the water sector.
