Job Description At the RAC, the Roadside is at the very heart of our business, as our dedicated Patrols deliver an exceptional and much-needed service to members nationwide. While we may be in unprecedented times at the moment, we’re continuing to provide this type of essential service across all divisions. This means that it’s business as usual here at the RAC. To provide a roadside recovery service which delivers high levels of customer satisfaction.Role purpose* Provide high levels of customer service whilst operating in a manner which supports/enhances the RAC brand values, ensures customer retention and delivery.* Meet the required standards of performance by achieving the key measures used to manage the business in order to provide a cost effective service.* Promote retail sales which meet individual targets and contribute the business revenue streams.* At all times work safety, ensuring the safety of self and members, to minimize risk of accident or injury.* At all times behavior is in keeping with that expected and defined to ensure that members are treated professionally, courteously and with empathy which ensures RAC`s high reputation is maintained.Skills, Knowledge and qualifications* Proven practical experience in a motor trade environment* Licensed to Category C (Minimum)* Preferably up to date CPC* A logical thinker with proven problem solving skills* Excellent vehicle handling skills* A flexible approach to meet the needs of the business* The ability to operate and maximize the use of all modern equipment including computerized equipment* The ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers and colleagues in a face-to-face situation or via the telephone* The ability to work under pressure and to see a job through to completion Disclosure Information:The personal information we have collected from you will be shared with Cifas who will use it to prevent fraud, other unlawful or dishonest conduct, malpractice, and other seriously improper conduct.
