Reablement Care Worker

Holistic Community Care: One of the most well-established homecare companies in the UK (www.carebyholistic.com).Providing thousands of hours of care services every week across London.We are creating a team of salaried, high-calibre, experienced careworkers to provide reablement support services in the London Borough of Richmond.You will be responsible for the provision of a range of care and support services to clients in their own homes. This role is primarily open to those with experience. Most importantly, you will be empathetic, with a genuine interest in the care of clients.Responsibilities· Supporting people and helping them relearn skills and regain their independence· Motivating clients to achieve the goals they have set· Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting· Daily reporting and working with office-based members of the reablement teamThe ideal candidates will have:Fluent English (both written and spoken)Good communication and interpersonal skillsA team-player attitude and be a joy to work withA real desire to work as a careworker and have a caring nature· Car drivers with their own car are preferredAvailability to work weekends, when required, according to the team’s shift patternsA sensitive and tactful approachA natural desire to help improve clients’ livesPatience, empathy and a good sense of humourTo remain calm and focused, even when under pressureA respect for others, friendly personality and a real passion to help people relearn skillsIn return we offer:Great rates of SALARIED pay - £20,000 per annumA quick start dateFull-time Employment contracts.
