Quantity Surveyor JOM Construction is a Civil / Groundworks company based just outside Otley, Leeds We are seeking a candidate that will work within a small team We require a Quantity Surveyor with experience in Groundworks & Civils in the Housing sector. We have a full time position which has become available in our company. To include:- · Monthly Valuations · Scheduling materials · Visiting Sites and measure works. · Pricing variations. · Maintaining site records · Tender Preparations and Bill of quants · Estimating Requirements: A background of working in residential groundworks is preferred.Proficient computer skills particularly in excel.General knowledge of contracts/ contractual termsGeneral reasoning ability and ability to take on new concepts quickly and efficiently.Possess good skill with numbers and strong mathematical ability.Ability to gather and analyse information skilfully.Good negotiation and management skillsHigh level of confidentiality and discretionSelf-motivated and proactiveFull Driving LicensePreferably reasonably local to our offices Salary: Negotiable Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
