This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious and competent Quality Assurance Manager to help drive this FMCG manufacturer to deliver high levels of quality assurance and a culture which becomes engrained across the business, including all levels of management. The business is a renowned FMCG manufacturer and they are working closely with Perpetual Engineering Partnerships to recruit a career-focused person to be a key part of their senior leadership team. They provide a wide range of products into various industries and they are experiencing exciting times. The key focus of the role is to progress from the current Quality Control focus and take the business on a Quality Assurance process and culture journey. You will be leading a small team of quality professionals and building on the strong quality platform which already exists (they are already ISO9001, 14001 and 18001 accredited). This includes driving lean improvements across the to build quality into every process and ultimately the culture. You will also be responsible for engaging with the shop floor to ensure buy in. The role requires an inspiring leader who has a real passion for quality assurance and a proven track record of setting and achieving standards and a clear strategy for all areas of quality across the business. You will also be customer facing as well as having an ability to improve supplier performance. You will also need to have a strong skill set in coaching, mentoring and developing teams to inspire an engrained quality culture. Finally, you need to have a solid track record of driving lean improvements to progress the business in its process journey.
