NCS currently require a Purchaser/Buyer for the Burton area, for a full-time permanent job. Identify materials in compliance with site specification.Report savings on a monthly basis.Monitor the quality of materials through engineers feedback and restrict the purchase of non installation friendly equipment.Manage returns by working closely with the supervisors and the suppliers.Manage stock levels within the stores and company vehicles and validate stock levels on site with supervisors.Maintain a clean tidy stores with a system that works for everyone.Hold meetings with suppliers and lock in greater discounts.Maintain records on the system that indicates which manufacture are used on which site and at what price with job owner.Maintain records on the system that indicate stock levels including cable meterage.Work closely with managers when tendering for projects to ensure bids are competitive.Receive delivery notes from on site personnel to goods receipt against invoices.Sign off invoices from suppliers once checked against delivery notes and purchase order.Undertake company procurement being responsible for best price and quality maintained.To provide general support and administrative assistance in procurement.Expedite and chase overdue materials.Complete non conformance reporting on suppliers.Receive / collate manufacture data sheets / technical documentation for operations manager to submit O&M manuals.Answer company phone where required.Be responsible for best price and quality for procurement of; Vehicles, Stationary, Labels and logo’s, Tester calibration, building materials, Company branding pens, umbrellas etc, printer maintenance and lease, consumables tea, coffee. Drill bits, tooling.Promotional advertising with board.Training costs.Attending trade shows where requested. Standardise a company manufacture & product.
