THE COMPANY:Brewster Partners are excited to be recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy, growing business on the outskirts of Doncaster. The role is a permanent position, dealing with a fast paced, high volume ledger, and would suit someone with previous Purchase Ledger experience. The role is working as part of an existing purchase ledger team, and is a fantastic opportunity with a great local business. THE JOB:Processing supplier invoices and reconciling supplier statementsUsing your own initiative to deal with internal and external queriesWork individually and collectively to improve departmental KPI's and meet monthly deadlinesEnsure timely payment to suppliers and adherence to terms and credit limitsStrive for continuous improvement and ways to streamline processesKeeping all ledgers clean and tidyGeneral accounting tasksAdministration tasks THE PERSON: The role would suit someone who has:Previous purchase ledger experience, ideally around 2 years of experience in a fast paced ledger environmentStrong Excel skills, comfortable with manipulating Excel and creating formulae confidentlyA confident communicator who can use their own initiative to answer queries but also is comfortable asking for help when neededStrong attention to detail and experience of managing workload to meet deadlinesExperience with Sage would be a benefit but is not essential THE BENEFITS:Working as part of a strong, dynamic Purchase Ledger team, giving support and a nice working environmentA fast paced environment where you can challenge yourself1 extra day of holiday earned per year of continuous service, up to a maximumBrewster Partners Recruitment Group focuses on the recruitment of talent in South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire & the Midlands.
