Job DescriptionWhat is the role?Responsible for the safety, security, maintenance, repair, cleanliness and proper use of public conveniences.Please click on the option to download additional information on these vacancies to access the Job Description.Extra information:The Grade of these posts are Grade 1 / Level 2.  Available posts/salaries are as follows:Post A - Ayr (2 posts) (36hrs average/annualised hours), the annual salary is £17,532 and the shift pattern is 4 on 4 off, Monday to Sunday, April to October 2021.Post B - Dunure - (8.57hrs), the annual salary is £3,174 and the shift pattern is 4 on 4 off, Monday to Sunday, April to October 2021.South Ayrshire Council applies the Scottish Local Government Living Wage for its workforce.  This means that the minimum hourly rate for South Ayrshire Council employees will be £9.34.  Although this post currently has a basic hourly rate from £7.94 to £8.68, £9.34 per hour will be paid.  The Living Wage will also be used in the calculation of any hours worked beyond 37 per week and on any allowance based on a proportion of the hourly rate e.g., outwith core and night working.  Closing date for applications is 23 February 2021.
