Project Manager (Engineering)- Packaging - UK and Europe - initially 12 month contractI am seeking a well-established Project Manager with a background in Electrical Engineering who has worked within packaging for FMCG manufacturers. You knowledge must include, a solid engineering experience of line installations and commissioning, problem solving capabilities helped to deliver business improvements and innovation projects. Handling automation projects end to end.You will be responsible for: * Translate business requirements into engineering solutions * Study the feasibility of potential projects.Core duties are:a.Working with Engineering and Operational Colleagues across the group, identify future innovation development requirements from a manufacturing asset perspectiveb.Undertake feasibility studies of potential development projects (including financial analysis of return on investment)c.Share and aide the reporting of projects and learning across the group of internal stakeholdersd.Working close with equipment suppliers on technology development ideatione.Aide communication across the group with regards to engineering solutions to aide delivery of innovation requirementsf.Working closely with R&D, Packaging to identify business requirementsg.Where required, work with stakeholders to set up necessary trials for development activitiesEXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSExperience in the packaging or aligned industriesDegree qualified in Engineering (Electrical preferably)Formal qualification in project management desirable but demonstrable experience essentialSKILLSProven Project Management skillsEffective communicator – verbal and in writingGood analytical skills – able to develop budgetsExtensive experience of managing cross functional teamsGood influencing skills
