General Information:Job Title:Project Engineer – Miscellaneous Process SystemsPosition Reports to:Project Engineering Work Stream LeadJob PurposeReporting to the Project Engineering Work Stream Lead, the primary role will be to oversee development of the specification of the various minor systems for purchase, delivery and qualification prior to production use. The position will be located at the Pfizer site at San Sebastian de los Reyes, Spain.Duration - 15 monthsProject DescriptionThe Pfizer A3 project includes the design, construction, and start-up of a new aseptic production facility for biological drug products at its site in San Sebastian de los Reyes. The project is currently in construction phase.Job ResponsibilitiesProcurement, delivery and qualification of miscellaneous Process Systems:Filling Line CanistersTempris Temperature SystemMobile VesselsBe the project focal point for any design/ construction/ commissioning queries.Liaison with Construction, Commissioning and Operational System Owners of the above systemsOversee that the systems and automation are constructed as per design.Work with sub-team as Owner of the systemsLead the effort: Ensure and contribute to adherence to project schedule.Coordination of any assistance required for the start-up of the systems (vendor, construction, maintenance, operations, calibration, etc.).Manage and approve vendor documentation associated with the systems in coordination with Project Document Control.Be responsible for any Change Control/ Documentation Mark-ups of Master documentation (P&IDs, etc.).Ensure Mechanical Completion and Documentation of the systems are carried out in line with project procedures.Contribute to progress meetings as requiredRegular progress reporting; maintenance and close-out of systems Action Lists.ExperienceDegree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or related field with > 5 years of experience in similar positionsPreferences:Experience in biotech facility design and operationExperience working on large capital projectsKnowledge and experience with a plant start-upStrong organizational, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.Familiarity with GMP change control requirementsFamiliarity with operating in a fully automated plantDemonstrated skill in identifying, analysing and solving problems.Fluency in Spanish and English
