PMP Recruitment are currently recruiting for Production Operators within a manufacturing site near Blackwood - NP11.The positions involve working on the production line and ensuring machines are set to produce products to the required specification / standard.Candidates will require previous experience within production or machine operating.Pay Rates :£11.07ph - £12.92Main duties:Loading product and to ensure machines are set and kept running to produce carpet to the required specification. Using tools with accuracy by ensuring ends are not missed out. To re-thread run-out yarns and trace and count rouge ends. Operating machines Maintaining good housekeeping in and around your work area. To complete all relevant documentationThe role involves handling products varying in weights from 2kg -5.5kg throughout the day.Shift Patterns / Hours:The positions are based on a three shift pattern of days, nights and afternoons rotating weekly,Days: Mon-Thurs 6am-2pm, Fri 6am-12 noonNights: Mon-Thurs 10pm-6am, Fri 6pm-12 midnightAfternoons: Mon-Thurs 2pm-10pm, Fri 12 noon-6pmPay Rates :£11.07ph - £12.92Contract length:Temp to Perm after 12 weeks for the right candidateCOVID-19 considerations:We are a Covid safe site.
