Production Operative

Job Details We are currently looking for an operator who has good team-working and communication skills.The main duties will include:Operating Machines within the knitting departmentHeavy lifting of spools and rolls from 3kg to 20kgEnsuring the machines are kept running and the department is tidyWorking in a busy production environmentFollowing guidelines to ensure minimal wastage and a quality productSkills neededPrevious Production/Machine operative experienceExperience within a manufacturing/engineering type businessWillingness to learn and gain new skillsFlexibility to working hoursGood work ethicAwareness and good concentrationGood level of the English Language both verbal and written.Good level of physical fitness with the ability to lift up to 20kgThis position is Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 7.30am to 4.00pmThis role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidate after 12 Weeks with a pay review.Full training will be provided by me or one of knitting team member.
