Role SummaryAs the Process Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out all the daily, weekly and monthly process checks within our production process.As the Process Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out all the daily, weekly and monthly process checks within our production process.Key Responsibilities• To ensure all process checks are completed on time following the process check plan. • Strip down an assembly using various tools and analyze process performance such as adhesion, strength and wettability.• Check and monitor process equipment such as DC torque drives.• Carry out process capability and MSA studies.• Carry out process checks to confirm the process is in control.• Be able to follow reaction plans to get the process back into control.• Carry out failure analysis and write reports.• Provide data analysis and data capture from the various processes.• Support process engineers with improvement activities.• Support process engineers with problem solving.• Understand and comply with all customer specific requirements in relation to process engineering. Essential • Minimum of HNC in an engineering discipline• Relevant experience within manufacturing • Self-motivated/self-directed i.e. able to work independently of others if required, with minimal supervision• Strong problem-solving/problem-resolution skills• Excellent verbal and written communication skills Desirable• Qualified to HND in an engineering discipline• Recent engineering experience in the automotive industry
