Job Title: Pest Control Technical Inspector / Field BiologistLocation: Covering Scotland, Northern Ireland and North East England – ideal candidate will be based in the Central Belt region of Scotland or in the North East of England but our client are flexible on this for the right candidateSalary: £42,037 + fully expensed Vehicle + full tools & equipment, pension, medical + 33 days holiday (includes bank holidays)Our client is a National Facilities Management company call City Facilities Management, they operates across multi sites throughout the UK with an impressive client base which includes ‘ASDA’.Due to excellent business expansion our client requires a motivated Pest Control Technical Inspector / Field Biologist operating in a regional role looking after and managing ASDA sites throughout Scotland, North East England and Northern Ireland, candidate will ideally live in the Central Belt area of Scotland or North East England, due to the travel and size of region, candidate must be prepared to stay away from home on average 2 nights a week.This role is full time and permanent and is just working on the ‘ASDA’ contract, there is no sales involved in the role.Job Purpose:The Technical Inspector / Field Biologist role is to provide technical pest control services to ASDA, to control all pest species covered under the contract and, by thorough inspection, identify any environmental conditions conducive to any pest activity whether covered by the contract or not. This requires visiting stores, supermarkets and depots and carrying out detailed inspections in a safe and professional manner.The successful applicant must have:* RSPH Level 3 or equivalent* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pest control, ideally at Senior Tech / Field Biologist / Supervisor level* Hold a clean driving licence valid for use in the UK* Good communication skills (both written & verbal)* Have a clean criminal recordAnd be:* Flexible in working hours* Well-presented* Highly motivated* Good Communication Skills and the ability to use your initiative* Able to work consistently to a high standardCandidate on average will spend a 2 nights away from home every week, so please only apply if this if you are fine with daily travel and regular overnight stays.The package that is on offer for this role is a salary of £42,037 a fully expensed vehicle, full tools, ipad, laptop and equipment, 33 days holiday a year.Please only apply if you are level 3 Qualified Pest Controller as anyone who is not Level 3 qualified will not be progressed.To apply for this role please submit full CV to Jonathan Sweasey at PDA Search and Selection
