Payroll Specialist / Witham / £30,500 salary / Fixed Term Contract until Jan 22 My client, a highly established and successful PLC business in Witham, is recruiting a Payroll Specialist. You will be joining an excellent team of 7 processing a payroll of about 3000 employees. This organisation offers excellent benefits, which you will be entitled to for the duration of the contract. Payroll Specialist duties: Process, administer and ultimately deliver all elements of payroll and benefits cycle for all payrolls including: (50%) Processing of all elements of payroll and benefitsReporting requirements for internal, TAX HMRC as requiredAccurate recording and reporting of SOX controlsAnalysis, interfaces and BACS transmission to ensure the accurate and timely payment to employees.Analysis, reporting and payment of all third-party providers Responsible for requirement gathering, business case development and ultimately ensuring all system changes made by HR teams that impact payroll and benefits records are accurate and adhere to HMRC and employment legislation. (5%)Manually calculate and perform complex over-write adjustments to pay and benefits. (10%)Accurately calculate and apply SSP, SMP, ShPP, SAP according to guidelines with annual alabaster ruling. (10%)Provide expert payroll advice on HR projects and initiatives including Benefit changes, organisational restructures, TUPE. Gather requirements on these projects and be able to articulate changes to Symatrix (payroll support provider) and test and sign off before being processed in Live environment (10%)Assist and process annual pay review, bonus awards and benefits enrolment for all units.
