Payroll Associate –English speakingThe Operations Business Unit is delivering HR & payroll outsourcing (HRO) and technical maintenance services to clients in line with the Statement of Services and the agreed services levels Working at HRO the Payroll Associate will be providing HR outsourced services and managing requests requiring a significant level of subject matterexpertise in an efficient and effective way in line with the statement of services and the agreed service levels Your role will consist of - Executingend to end Payroll process step by step preparation processing controlling and reporting- Managing theworkflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely aligned with Payroll calendar and contractual agreements- Answeringday to day Payroll related questions and requests- ExecutingPayroll controls (SOC1 etc)- Reconcilingpayroll prior to transmission and validates confirmed reports- Updating Maintaining procedures and documentation about Payroll process- Demonstratingunderstanding of Payroll processes and Payroll control reports- Producingregular and on-demand ad hoc payroll reports- Producing regular and on-demand ad hoc Global Multiple Country Reporting- Analysing Highlightingany deviation to Payroll calendar and discuss with Line Manager- Performing system and application upgrade testing (HRSP EMR etc)- Ensuringgood collaboration with other teams and departmentsBusiness Related Skills - Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel) - In-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing- Knowledge of taxation and employment benefits- Financial and accounting skills- Knowledge of SAP HR- Reporting skills- Good knowledge of the country legislation and country specific processes is advantagePersonal Skills - Fluent Dutch and reasonably proficient in English- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Accurate in terms of quality and respect of deadlines- Ability to organize work and priorities to meet deadlines with limited supervision- Flexibility- High degree of professionalism- Decision-making problem-solving and good analytical skills- Scheduling and monitoring- Attention to details and accuracyKey competencies - Be Accountable- Take advantage of the World of Opportunity and demonstrate personal responsibility and eagerness to explore & acquire the necessary skills Be a key team player by collaborating and sharing knowledge to accomplish personal and team results - Solve Problems- Be a resourceful problem solver by proactively identifying problems or challenges in the workplace and put forward creative solutions to drive continuous improvement- Take Ownership- Proactively seeks clarity of role accomplishment of individual & team objectives and future personal career opportunities- Be Client Centric- Actively responds to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external clients Ensure a balanced approach between client requirements and NGA priorities- Be Effective- Demonstrate knowledge of the NGA Way our values and levers for success Contribute and work to agreed global standards utilize tools & technologies to act fast to achieve maximum personal productivity
