Opportunity for full equity within a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants in Liverpool. Your new firm A sole practitioner based on the outskirts of Liverpool is looking to appoint a Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA) to join the firm and ideally succeed the owner over the coming years. This is a well established firm of accountants and registered auditors and they posses a broad and loyal client base. This role has arisen due to succession planning and offers a clear cut progression route through to partnership. Your new roleThe firms portfolio consists of a broad range of clients predominantly under the audit threshold and they provide a range of year end compliance services along with tax planning and outsourcing services. As a partner designate you will work with the partner to manage the client base which will involve reviewing the work of junior staff (a team of 10), meeting with the clients and undertaking tax planning work. The firms portfolio also contains a range of solicitors for which you will also oversee the delivery of SAR work. Once acquainted with the client base and the practice there will opportunity to gain equity in the firm and transition the ownership of the firm. What you'll need to succeedThe partner is seeking an experienced general practitioner who has gained their ACA or ACCA qualification and ideally possesses a practising certificate. You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of managing your own portfolio and be confident in delivering a full range of general practice services to clients under the audit threshold. The firm possesses a multitude of clients and therefore the partner is looking to appoint an organised individual who has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop long lasting client relationships. What you'll get in returnAs a partner designate you will join a reputable and well established firm on the outskirts of Liverpool.
