Part-Time Residential Care Worker(evenings) Salary: £8.91 Hours of Work: 10.5hours (8:00pm-11:00pm) The main purpose of the Residential Care Worker roleis to provide a flexibleand individualistic personal care service to residents appropriate to theirphysical, emotional and social care needs. The main responsibilities of the rolesare: -To carryout personal care tasks such as assisting residents with personal care, mobilityneeds and dressing for and retiring to bed as determined by agreed individualcare-plans. -Toassist residents where possible to sustain maximum independence by encouraging themto work with you in the carrying out of domestic tasks. -Tomaintain high standards of care in working with older people with dementia inorder that they may achieve their optimum level of personal functioning. -Toassist with the formulation and review of care plans, maintain written recordsand other information as required. -Toundertake as required appropriate courses of training.
