About The Role Critical purpose of role: Work within a designated department in a position within the team as designated by the manager / supervisor Produce hand sprayed kitchen components in a timely manner, ensuring products meet the company’s high-quality standards Main responsibilities: Hand spray kitchen components, applying both base and finishing coats to achieve a high-quality finish on all products Understand and produce the required ratios of lacquer mixing used in the manufacturing of hand-sprayed kitchen components Understand the preparation required to achieve a good adhesion and finish to the applied lacquer in order to meet expected quality standards Identify panel defects and resolve quality issues where possible to maintain a low reject rate Understand and demonstrate the safety measures and precautions required while working within a flammable atmosphere Identify and understand how to resolve lacquer contamination issues to ensure products meet required standards Ensure all daily departmental duties are completed in a timely and efficient manner Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation within the department Provide training and support to colleagues as required by your area manager Project a positive image of Wren Kitchens and the department at all times Undertake any other Warehouse duties as reasonably as requested by the manager or supervisor Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding health and safety in the workplace Adhere to procedures regarding the proper use and care of equipment and materials associated with the role Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge in order to effectively perform the role About You Desired Skills & Knowledge: Warehouse experience would be an advantage but not essential Organisational skills Time management Flexibility, commitment and punctuality Previous experience in spraying / finishing industry Previous experience working with flammable chemicals
