Key Activities: The OE and R&O operators shall perform a variety of the following tasks in accordance with approved work instructions, depending on the business priorities and their skills and experience: Composite blade fabrication, such as material layout, foam injection and RTM processes Assembly of composite blades to metallic components, such as Root Bond of sleeves Blade Overshoe manufacture Product finishing, such as paint and protective treatments Disassembly and cleaning of products to make ready for inspection Composite blade repairs and application of protective treatments for metallic products Fitment/Replacement of Leading-Edge Guards and Blade Overshoes. Responsible for Quality & Environmental, Health & Safety standards. Ensure compliance with all company and statutory procedures, specifications, and standards. Essential responsibilities: Operators require a mix of the following (not all) · Good understanding of engineering technical drawings or Instructions · Composite manufacturing experience · Composite repair experience · Experience with working with paints, resins, and other chemicals · Product disassembly and assembly experience · Inspection of product and process documentation · Experience in the use of hand tools and manufacturing machinery/equipment. Qualifications / Requirements/ Desired characteristics: Experience in Aviation industry preferred Ability to work in a team environment Able to work on own initiative High level of attention to detail
