The Science and Technology Park Foundation (FCPCT) of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) - Spain offers one researcher contract to work in the EU WARIFA project.This temporary contract is related to specific work and services to be developed by the ULPGC in the context of WARIFA project.The work and responsibilities of the researcher will include the following topics Tasks supervision.Team coordination.Preparation of reports and writing papers.Participation in meetingsAnalysis of scientific evidences The objective of WARIFA project (“Watching the risk factors: Artificial intelligence and the prevention of chronic conditions”), funded by H2020, is the early and personalized prediction of health risks using artificial intelligence in order to offer citizens and patients a new digital tool that allows them to change their behaviour and adopt healthier habits and a better lifestyle. In addition, the impact of this tool on health and care pathways will be investigated. The project will have 3 scenarios as use cases: 1) Chronic sun damage and skin cancer; 2) Chronic complications of diabetes mellitus; 3) Risk factors in the lifestyle of patients with the four main non-communicable diseases.The University will recruit the best candidates following the recommendations of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
