Your new companyWell known charity who provide specialist emergency accommodation to both male and female service users who are homeless and have complex needs including Substance Use, Homelessness and Mental Health issues Your new role We have guaranteed 3 set night shifts a week for the foreseeable future working in homeless service based in Downpatrick with working hours of 8.45pm – 9.15am. This is an 8 bed adult unit, the position is ongoing temporary working for the next 3 months with possible view of extension or even going permanent and is paying an hourly rate of £10.27 ph - £11.00 ph including holiday pay. What you'll need to succeed Two years’ experience of working within social care in challenging environments. Demonstrated understanding of issues affecting those who are homeless with multi-complex needs. An ability and willingness to work night shifts including weekends Ability to demonstrate communication skills (written and verbal) Demonstrate a good working knowledge of ICT and use of Microsoft Office and email.
