Job Duties: Set-up & standardize equipment, process parts, interpret & evaluate for acceptance or rejection and document results.Non-destructive testing using Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Inspection. Hardness and Electrical Conductivity Testing. Conduct System Performance Checks/NDT Process Controls in accordance with the applicable process standard, investigating & correcting non-conformance.Provide the necessary guidance and/or supervision to trainees.Basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing & inspection technology.Generation of Work Instructions & NDT data cards for submission to the Responsible level III.Daily checks/calibrations as required to meet customer and 3rd party (NADCAP) requirements.Maintaining NDT records of all products processed through NDT department.Generating NDT reports where required by customer.Maintaining the NDT department to ensure we fully comply with customer and all other relevant accreditation body requirements. Qualifications / Experience: EssentialAerospace NDT certified to NAS410/EN4179 on magnetic & penetrant to Level 2.Work experience in a similar role post qualification.Able to manage multiple priorities with a bias towards action.Constantly displays integrity and respect.Actively engages in discussions and openly supports team decisions.DesirableAerospace NDT certified to NAS410/EN4179 on magnetic & penetrant to Level 3.Previous experience in similar industry is preferable (Aerospace).Knowledge of chemicals for acid etch/pickling.Evidence of fact-based decision making.A solid understanding of engineering drawings and method specifications.Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
