National Account Manager

Read the complete job description below.Client Details My client is one of the industry's most dynamic global drinks businesses offering a portfolio of market leading brands and products.Description The key responsibilities are as follows:- To lead and develop relationships with buyers and key stakeholders to gain listings in key accounts.To manage existing business for the company in assigned accounts including:- Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies; preparing and monitoring performance against budgets; reviewing and preparing weekly/monthly/quarterly reports; managing individual promotional budgets.To seek and develop new business opportunities for the company.To provide accurate and up to date forecasts for all brands and all SKU's.To agree a 12 month rolling promotional plan which operates withing the promotional parameters.To work closely with the global brand team and channel marketing to develop and execute brand activations for key customers.To monitor and evaluate ongoing promotional activity and return on investment.To identify and grow any new opportunities either through new distribution in existing account or new accounts which fall within the remit of this role.Work closely with the UK Team to contribute and develop the overall UK Sales strategy.Liaise with Marketing Department on competitor information and contribute to the development of new products and SKU's.Lead and develop the Sales Executive, ensuring that they are supported, have training and development plans in place, and are motivated and inspired to deliver great work.Manage and own your professional development in order to achieve your work objectives and your career and personal goals.Scope of Role The National Account Manager has a high degree of autonomy on the day to day operation of their region.They will be required to make commercial decisions regarding sales price and promotional support packages offered to customers/potential customers.Communication will include negotiating with high-level contacts within and position has accountability for maintenance of distribution channels, and observance of sales management policies and activities.Decisions will impact the entire organisation, and errors may cause critical delays, inefficiencies, and expense to the organisation.Profile Working Conditions This role does require travel within the UK and the jobholder will be required to stay away from home on occasion.Blended working between home and office.You will be required to attend trade shows and other promotional activities on behalf of the Company as required.You will be required to work additional hours as necessitated by the needs of the business .Personal Profile 5&43; years of sales management experience, preferably within Multi National/Retail Sector.Bachelor degree in business or related area.5&43; years negotiating agreements and contracts.Highly commercial individual with a track record of managing P&L's, with a particular focus on driving sales and profit growth.A resilient, can-do mindset will be required.Outstanding communicator- written and verbal- able to work with individuals across levels, functions, brands, countries and cultures.Capable of providing direction, a strong influencer and can communicate the advantages and disadvantages of available options.Job Offer Competitive
