To undertake continuous swimming pool surveillance, recovery of bathers, resuscitation, first aid and general assistance in accordance with agreed procedures.

To ensure strict adherence to the swimming pool and lifeguard standards. To cover reception and lifeguard the pool when necessary (only if lifeguard trained).

Ensure the effective management of swimming lessons when on shift. Complete key holder duties including basic pool plant duties.
