Maintenance EngineerA successful manufacturing company, we are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for their team in their manufacturing plantThe plant operates many types of production machines, and experience of maintaining, repairing, servicing these machines will be a daily requirement and experience within the textile industry would be advantageous, but not essential. Working within a small team you will be responsible for responding to breakdowns/ reactive, and ongoing preventive (PPM) maintenance of all machinery on site.Duties to include:Carrying out planned preventative maintenanceCarrying out reactive engineering works across the siteTaking part in Continuous Improvement projectsMachine optimisation, setting up the machines to maximise all movementsAccurate record keepingCarrying out root cause analysis Successful candidate will possess the following skills/experience:Ability to be able to communicate well with other departmentsIndependent and confident in their abilities.Experience in Industrial environmentsMachine maintenance and optimisation experienceExperience in reacting to breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenanceKnowledge of fault-finding and problem-solving techniquesElectrical knowledge desirable but not essentialExperience in textile industry advantageous Salary: Up to 34k dependant on skills/experience 42 hours per week Shifts: Monday-Thursday 7am-4.00pm, Friday 7.00 - 3.30pm initially through training period, then Monday - Thursday (phone number removed)pm Friday (phone number removed)pm Job Type: Full-time Package: Pension and health care package, and 30 days holidays including statutory
