Due to increased production which has resulted in a healthy and sustainable order book, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join a modern and heavy manufacturing facility based in the heart of North Lanarkshire on an on-going contract basis. Working as part of an established maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned & reactive maintenance including breakdowns and reactive repairs to production equipment which can range from but not limited to: * Hydraulics * Pneumatics * Pumps * Conveyors * Cranes Essential requirements: * Served recognised mechanical apprenticeship * Strong background working within heavy industrial engineering in a maintenance capacity * The ability to read & work from engineering drawings * Pneumatic & hydraulic experience * Basic welding & fabrication skills * Flexible with working shifts and contributing to overtime if and when required * Sound knowledge and understanding of H&S standards in the workplace * Full UK Drivers licence with own transport This position is offered on an on-going PAYE basis
