Job Role: Mechanical Assembler Location: Wakefield Salary: £13.00 per hour Tenure: Temporary to Permanent (Permanent after 12 weeks) Due to a healthy order book and an upgraded & brand new facility our client is looking for an experienced powder coater to join their team.Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you're the right fit for this role before applying.Shift: Monday- Thursday 08:00 am- 4pm Friday 08:00 am- 1.30pm Overtime Rates: Mon-Fri- Time and a third Saturday- Time and a half Sunday- Double Time Daily Duties: Working on a variety of fabrication and sheet metal projects you will be a key part of the assembly team You will be using a variety of hand and power tools safely to complete mechanical assembly and fitting where necessary of components.The use of Pillar drill / electric drill and taps to manually tap a drilled hole and create threads for screws, nuts and bolts.Following technical drawings and diagrams to build the materials Requirements: Must have experience in a mechanical assembly environment (essential) Fork truck license is (desirable) Fit and healthy as the role requires laboring tasks Driving license
