I am now working exclusively with a large manufacturing business located near, Liversedge, West Yorkshire who do to customer demand, are now looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer on Permanent basis. This position will be based in the Maintenance Team, responsible for all reactive maintenance across site. Candidates can be Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled, but Manufacturing, FMCG or Fulfilment knowledge will be required. Description As the Maintenance Engineer you will report directly into the Engineering Supervisor responsible for all on site breakdowns and upkeep of machinery, across the manufacturing and production site. You will be challenged in driving improvements, reducing downtime, and moving to a more proactive maintenance system. Other duties; Assess the root cause of any faults with factory equipment and repair accordingly whilst suggesting improvements for longer term solutionsRepair faults efficiently to ensure the factory returns to full production promptlyReport all breakdowns according to company policyPlan and complete all Preventative Maintenance workWork to drawings and manuals to adjust and repair factory equipmentEnsure that KPI's are achievedUndertake any training when requiredLiaise with various internal departments to ensure smooth runningAdhere to all company policies and proceduresFlexible working hours to meet production or maintenance deadlines.Work shift rotations which include 12 hour days and nights This position will give the successful candidate an opportunity to develop, improve and drive on site efficiencies.
