Apex urgently require machine Operators for their prestigious client in Paisley, they are a world leader in precision slender shaft and turned component machining and assembly and combines the latest technology with years of experience to meet the needs of their customers to the best of our ability.They strongly believe that through their up-to-date technologies and innovative management strategy they offer an always unbeatable service to all customers.Their components are installed in over 30 million car’s van's and trucks and counting.The correct candidates will be expected to program set and operate machines to accurately meet the companies exacting quality standards.This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their engineering career.You will ideally have experience of CNC machinery although this is not essential.Your Duties will includeü Reading Engineering Drawingsü Measuring Parts Using Metrology Equipmentü Be capable of applying machine offsets and changing indexable Inserts / toolingü Cleaning Machines to Ensure Good Productü Operating 6 CNC Lathes per Shift (After Initial Training)Training is a 4 week day shift period, rate of pay is £8.72 - £9.71 ph depending on experience.Once your training is complete you will be eligible for a 25% wage increase.Flexibility is essential due to alternating shifts, you will be required to work Monday – Thursday 12 hour shifts, day and night on a rotational basis.
