Multinational company within the automotive sector is currently looking for a Logistics Engineer (German Speaker) for the opening of a new Logistics Centre.The purpose of this positions is to coordinate and supervise the storage and flow materials of the logistic centre for the contribution to the profitability of the project's operating account and customer satisfaction. As a Logistics Engineer - German Speaker, your main tasks will be: Manage the logistics department, contributing to the objectives of the organisation (set up the dpt annual objectives, promote improvement and innovation in the dpt..)Manage and supervise the team in order to optimise their performance, motivation and development. Establish metrics and systems to monitor the logistics activities in order to evaluate their degree of optimisation and productivity. Follow up the service, productivity, profitability and quality KPI's of the area. Collaborate with the Operations/Plant Manager for the improvement and optimisation of processes and resources of the centre. Define the layout of the warehouse to improve the efficiency of material's flow. The requirements for the position are: Having availability to relocate in Germany.Fluent German and English speaker. Engeering degree. 3 years experience in logistics, preferably in Automotive sectour.
