Land based service engineering skills coach/ assessor

Protocol are delighted to invite a skilled Land based service engineering skills coach/ assessor to play an integral part in coaching and mentoring apprentices through their land based service engineering training programmes, within a college setting based in Nantwich. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual, with experience and a background in Engineering or Construction PLANT, to coach, mentor, manage and review apprentices who are based in the workplace and attend college for training. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of working within the Engineering environment, and ideally with a qualification in an Engineering, Motor Vehicle or Construction Plant discipline, whilst having a good understanding of the Standards for Land-based Service Engineering at Level 3 following two routes Construction PLANT and/or Agriculture Engineering. This role is a full-time permanent position within the college. The person & qualifications* Substantial industry experience in relevant occupational area. * Relevant Level 3 or above qualification in occupational area or equivalent* Maths and English qualifications at level 2* Coaching / Mentoring / Assessor qualification (or equivalent is desirable or a willingness to achieve within a specified timescale)* Experience working with apprentices within Land based service engineering/ Construction PLANT/ Agriculture EngineeringAbout ProtocolProtocol are the specialist full-service recruiter dedicated to education, training and skills.
