Junior Maintenance Technician Derry/Londonderry£22 - £23.5k p/hOur client is a leading health care packing business with nearly 70 years' experience in their sector. They currently require a Junior Maintenance Technician to join their team in the Derry/Londonderry area, you will be responsible for the execution, monitoring and recording of the maintenance breakdowns and breakdown follow ups.Your new role as a Junior Maintenance Technician;Work alongside production colleagues to optimise machine and process set-up, and control system configurations so as to achieve maximum yield and performance.Develop and work on effective routine preventative maintenanceRespond efficiently and proactively to plant and equipment faults, diagnosis and repairs, in a fast paced fresh milk production environment minimising plant downtime.Through structured continuous improvement devise initiatives to increase efficiencies, eradicate repeat breakdowns and reduce costsSupport the installation and commissioning of new plant and equipmentTo undertake utility management and repairs on M&E services, such as steam control valves, condensate traps, pipework and building fabric.What you will need to succeed as a Junior Maintenance Technician;Completed an Electrical apprenticeship, obtain an ONC (ordinary national certificate) in electrical engineering or equivalent and have a three year post apprenticeship primarily in a multi-batch production environment with a multi-skilled bias.Ability to diagnose and solve problemsWhat we hope you will do next;Contact Warren Watson to discuss this in absolute confidence or send an updated CV via the link on the pageBy applying for this role you accept the terms of processing, please find our privacy policy on our website vickerstock.co.uk
