Investment Manager (Global Private and PublicInvestments)

Entreprise :Reference Family Office based in Barcelona with global investmentsDescription du poste :You will work directly with professionals across the organisation and advisors to evaluate investment opportunities with external investment managers in both public and private markets.You will meet and liaise with advisors and investment managers, General Partners of Funds to understand their investment strategies, their investment judgement, their financial, ethical alignment and how well they have structured their firms.You will run portfolio level risk analysis and closely monitor performance in support of asset allocation, portfolio construction and future investment commitments, preparing the Investment Committee reports or presentations.You will follow and analyse major investment trends, best practices of other family offices or institutional investors and global market environments for our own internal use and for reporting, together with the above, to the General Director and/or eventually Board of Directors.You will work together in a closely-knit team of people who enjoy each other's company, work hard and have fun together.Description du profil :University degree required (Engineering, business administration) with finance/economics focus. CFA designation or equivalent knowledge (MBA or financial oriented programs). Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in English and Spanish. 10 years of appropriate knowledge and experience preferred, gained from work in a similar capacity at either large institutional investor (such as a pension fund or endowment), fund-of-funds, international advisory investment services firm or family office. Travelling may be required.Personal Skills: Demonstrated interest and fundamental understanding of investment principles, financial and risk metrics. Strong technical/quantitative skills with demonstrated ability to execute financial analysis. Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and investment professionals. Self-starter, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and on a collaborative basis as part of a team. Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and organisational skills. Team orientation and strong interest in supporting the work of investment and other professionals across the organisation, teaching ability.
